Cooperation at Embraco Ecology Award – a CSR activity

Goal and target group:

elementary schools in Spišská Nová Ves, residents of the city and nearby communities, general public
The project aims at creating the positive attitude of elementary schoolers to environment, through a grant program help them contribute to improving their environment. Based on the results, to motivate the locals to ecological behavior. To emphasize the reputation of Embraco Slovakia as a responsible partner for the community. 

Project details:
We offered the client a form of implementing CSR concepts, we participated in suggesting the concept for the award. Our participation continued by membership in a commission evaluating the projects. The ceremony of announcing the results was popularized in the media. We provided the interactive training to coordinating teachers so that the teams know how to present their projects in front of the public.

 
Result:

Seven out of eight local elementary schools joined in the project. Four projects were awarded with the total sum of 4 979 euros. Seven positive media outputs in the media ensued and volunteer work in the company got another impetus.
