The project aims at creating communication network among potential visitors and the microregion residents, with emphasis on public promotion of the region.

Details:

The project includes the media presentation of the unique cultural event – Days of Hornád Microregion, creating the full-color quarterly newspaper – Abovský hlásnik – and its presentation at conferences and media events in Slovakia and Europe. Furthermore, there is administration of website www.regionhornad.sk, publishing the cycling map (more about it here) and exhibition of photos from the region. We aspire to inspiring other regions of Slovakia, too.

 

Result: Better information quality about the region through Abovský hlásnik quarterly, positive reactions of readers, feedback for editors.

 

Effects: Newspaper for 24 000 local residents, increased interest in one-day hiking and cycling
