New map for cycling enthusiasts

South-east of Kosice is opening to cycling enthusiasts, also thanks to Communication House and Regional Association of Communities - Hornád.
In cooperation with VKU Harmanec we created a modern map with marked routes. It contains texts about the micro-region, interesting with its nature and cultural monuments.

The map is also a great presentation material for the micro-region and its 16 communities, possibly during important events and visits to the region.
 
We will be happy to put our experience to use also in cooperation with other associations.


About Hornád Micro-region map of cycling routes

The region south-east of Košice is still largely undiscovered by tourists. In fact, this picturesque part of Slovakia hosts the border between Košická basin and Slanské hills. Three rivers (Hornád, Torysa, Olšava) are slowly meandering its way there through flood-plain forests, replaced in the east by thickly forested hills. Simply put, this region offers varied landscapes with multifaceted nature, ideal for cycling and hiking trips of families with children and even sport enthusiasts.
 

Map of cycling routes contains important contact data of communities and cycling services. Small articles present the micro-region and its villages and their important sights. The map's texts are in Hungarian and the gist also in English. The map covers a substantial part of Hungarian territory.


The folded map is sold in Košice bookstores and tourist information centers. Mostly suitable for cycling freaks, but also for other tourists.
